Artist and Naturalist, Jason Poole, will lead students to discover the fascinating world of insects and arthropods through a dynamic 6-part art class series designed for all skill levels. Students will begin with foundational sketching techniques, learning to observe and capture the unique forms and textures of these tiny creatures. As the series progresses, they'll explore color and detail and, culminating in bold, expressive watercolor paintings. Each class builds on the last, blending science and creativity to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature’s smallest wonders.Dates: Tuesday, October 28th to Tuesday, December 2nd (6 weeks)
When: Tuesday Evenings 6:00-8:00PM
Location: Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium
Cost of 6-Part Series: $300/non-member and $270/member
Materials: We will provide pencils, pens, and sketch paper at least for the first session, and then participants will recieve a supplies list after the first session on the 28th of October!
