Art On Your Doorstep: Newport Self‑Guided Art Walk
Explore Newport on this relaxed, self‑guided walk, part of Art On Your Doorstep from the National Gallery. Newport is one of only four UK partners hosting the trail this year, making it a rare opportunity to experience life‑size reproductions of world‑famous paintings without travelling to London.
The 1-mile route features 18 artworks placed around the town centre, historic squares, alleyways and the harbourside. It is fully step‑free and can be followed using an illustrated map, making it suitable for all abilities. A great way to discover Newport’s heritage while enjoying iconic National Gallery pieces in everyday surroundings.
