Art of Self-Love Afternoon Retreat: Black Joy x Wellness

Join us for this Art of Self-Love Afternoon Retreat as we come together for our first event of 2025!

Self-love is not a selfish act but a fundamental aspect of building a fulfilling and balanced life. It allows us to navigate challenges with grace, form meaningful connections, and cultivate a positive and empowering relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

On this special day, Georgie (@Soularspace) and Christa (@Seolachris__) invite you to our Art of Self-Love Afternoon Retreat.

The retreat will feature various healing practices to help you cultivate a deeper sense of self-love and appreciation for your body, mind, and spirit.

What to expect:

• a special perfume making workshop
• restorative yoga practice
• meditation and yoga nidra visualisation
• sound healing
• to connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive and nurturing environment

No matter your level of experience, Christa and Georgie are experienced yoga teachers and facilitators who will provide options to accommodate all levels.

This event is exclusively for Black, Brown women and women of colour (WOC).

During this widely celebrated month of love, February often directs our focus outwards by emphasising external gifts and gestures. Yet the most enriching relationship that needs catering, is the one you hold with yourself. We recognise that our communities have endured generational traumas and ongoing challenges that impact our well-being. This is why we must embrace radical self-love and the healing power of yoga, breath, rest, and community.

Holistic practices of yoga, meditation and sound healing were traditionally created and embraced by people of colour, yet we remain underrepresented in modern Western wellness spaces.
