Founded by Jenny Morris, OAM, Art of Music is pure creative genius and the most memorable fundraiser on the Sydney event circuit.Art of Music takes Australia’s music royalty and pairs them up with Australia’s greatest living artists, uniting them with one of THE most inspirational of charitable causes.
A group of top contemporary visual artists each choose a song or musical artist to inspire a piece of artwork. The artists take their inspiration from the melody, the lyrics, the album cover or even the singer. It’s entirely up to them as to how they interpret the music. The artwork is then auctioned during a gala dinner in the spectacular Grand Court of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Art of Music 2024 will once again include some very special musical performances highlighting the works of art on display on the night.
