About this Event

Join boutique winemakers G.W. Lussier of Lussier Wine Company and Mark Gamache of Mon Premier Wines for an immersive exploration of small-lot, handcrafted winemaking.

Through a guided tasting of six distinctive wines, Mark and G.W. will walk attendees through every stage of the winemaking journey, from vineyard selection to fermentation techniques, barrel aging decisions, blending, and bottling.

Mon Premier
Rooted in the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard, Mon Premier focuses on carefully selected sites farmed with meticulous attention to detail. Production is intentionally limited, allowing for:
  • Hand-harvested fruit at optimal phenolic ripeness
  • Small-lot fermentations to preserve site expression
  • Thoughtful oak integration that supports, rather than dominates
  • Structured yet elegant wines designed for aging

Mon Premier wines are defined by balance and refinement, expressive aromatics, layered texture, and a clear sense of place. Each vintage is approached as a singular opportunity rather than a formula.
Lussier Wine Company
Lussier Wine Company is driven by a hands-on, cellar-forward philosophy. With extremely limited case production, every barrel is personally evaluated and blended with precision.
Their approach emphasizes:
  • Minimal intervention techniques
  • Native yeast fermentations where appropriate
  • Micro-lot vinification to capture vineyard nuance
  • A commitment to authenticity over trend

The result is wines with energy and character, structured yet vibrant, often showcasing lifted aromatics and detailed finish profiles that reflect disciplined craftsmanship.

What Guests will Experience:

Guests will gain insight into how limited production, hands-on craftsmanship, and intentional decision-making shape wines of character, balance, and expression.

This seminar offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the philosophy, precision, and passion that define boutique wine production, culminating in a deeper understanding of how thoughtful choices in the vineyard and cellar translate into what ultimately fills the glass.
