About this Event
The goal is to hype each other up, share ideas and resources, and help each other grow and become better artists.
Attention visual artists in the North Country & Northeast Kingdom: Do you take photos, paint, make prints, sculpt, draw, collage, craft, or do digital art? Do you love art and want to hang out with artists? Join us each Sunday from 4-6 pm for a brand new artist group in Littleton. We’ll offer supportive critique of each other's work, swap tips, techniques, and leads for upcoming art calls, and generally share creative inspiration and ideas in a safe, moderated space in the Polyart gallery. All skill levels and art mediums are welcome. Our goal is to build a space for local artists to meet, learn new skills, build each other up, network, and collaborate to create a kick*ss artist community in Littleton. We’re starting with a couple of couches, some snacks, and hopefully a few cool people who want to work together and talk about what drives them to create. This is a no-pressure zone - if you want to jump right in and share your work and ideas, that’s awesome, or if you can just come and chill in the lounge, listen in, and soak up the energy. Bring your sketchbook!
INSTRUCTOR / ARTIST BIO:
Annie Stuart is a local artist who specializes in design, visual art, and marketing. She is a former art teacher and an experienced creative director, with a BFA from Mass Art. She currently works from her studio space at the Loading Dock, where she paints large, colorful mixed-media canvases.
SKILL LEVEL:
All skill levels; anyone who is interested in participating in conversations about art and/or developing their own artwork through supportive critique and creative conversation.
NUMBER OF STUDENTS:
