Join us for Art in the Park: Latino Culture Night! This year, we are honored to be highlighting our local Latino community - celebrating culture through music, dance, art, and shared experiences while fostering connection, increasing visibility, and creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. We are partnering with the Latino Center for Wellness & Education (LCWE) to support the Tippecanoe Latino Fest in September. Get ready for a number of local art vendors, food trucks, free kids' activities, and more!Since 2014, the City of Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has provided a unique art experience through our Art in the Park festival series. Art in the Park festivals showcase local and regional recognized fine arts and crafts, interactive art, music from local talent, a variety of foods from local food vendors, and fun activities for the kids. During these events, local artisans showcase their wares and offer them for sale. Features mediums include everything from pottery and wood, to jewelry, textiles, and much more. Art in the Park is a family-friendly event, free to attend, and open to the public. Each night features a free kids craft, food trucks, and free live entertainment.
