Unleash your little artist in Tavers Parck, Jackson Heights!
Every Sunday, we invite children 18 months -10yrs to create art in Travers Park. We bring the materials, and your child will use imagination and creativity while having loads of fun together with other little artists. When you arrive, look for our colorful table at the entrance of the park.
All sessions have a 'Special Event' approval permit from the Department of Parks and Recreation, NYC and a $25 event fee has been paid to secure a location for the sessions in Travers Park, Jackson Heights.
Every week, we provide different art activities, so it is a perfect opportunity for your young child to develop art skills and enjoyment from creating their own art.
Each one-hour class will include:
- Painting - free choice
- Craft activity - Make and create a craft
- Skills project - devloping art skills appropriate to the age of the child
Children will take home 3 pieces of artwork per class.
Space is limited at each Sunday class to 10 children, so please register early to save a spot for your child.
If you choose to be placed on the Waiting List, please wait for confirmation before attending a session.
Weather policy: If there is rain forecast between 9am-11:30am on Sunday, we will email you by 8am and the class will be moved to the next Sunday or you will be given a make up class.
