Celebrate creativity at the 3rd Annual Art in the Arboretum on May 16 from 10 AM–2 PM at the USU Botanical Center. This free, community event provides a rare and inspiring opportunity to experience art outdoors, where nature itself becomes part of the exhibition.
Wander tree-lined paths and discover an inspiring showcase of local talent across a wide range of artistic media, including:
- Fine art such as paintings, drawings, and sculptures
- Fiber & textile arts and crafts, including quilts and handmade creations
- 3-D printed and mixed-media works
- Performance art and storytelling
From traditional techniques to contemporary expression, Art in the Arboretum celebrates creativity in all its forms.
Enjoy live music, explore interactive art stations, add your own touch with sidewalk chalk, or participate in optional hands-on classes (additional fees apply). Come hungry and savor delicious eats from local food trucks, then find a one-of-a-kind piece of art to take home.
New in 2026, we are introducing an annual theme that invites artists and visitors alike to explore how connection, creativity, and shared spaces help a community flourish. This year’s theme, Community in Bloom, honors the spirit of Kaysville as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.
Artists are encouraged (but not required) to create and submit work inspired by this year’s theme.
In addition to the open exhibition, Art in the Arboretum will also feature an optional judged competition in 2026. While the heart of the event remains a welcoming showcase of local creativity, participating artists may choose to have their work considered for awards selected by judges and the public.
