Our series where you can meet and experience one of our artists at work. This time, KATRINA MEISTER will spend the day at the Gallery, set-up and working LIVE on her beautiful Watercolors and Acrylics. It’s a visual experience, as well as an opportunity to get to know the artists themselves, ask about their process, and fall in love with his beautiful art.
ABOUT KATRINA MEISTER:
Katrina started painting and drawing as a child and continued to make art at university earning a double degree in Fine Art and Psychology from the University of Oregon. However, most of her art technique comes from creating over and over and over. Katrina’s card business began to grow in 1999 when she walked into her locally owned bookstore with some samples of her newly printed cards.
In 2005 she made the leap to run the business full time with help from her husband Michael. She exhibits and sells her original paintings and they reproduce some of the art as limited editions, and some on a variety of products in the studio using environmentally friendly production methods and materials. She is now on permanent display at ART on FIRST, in Ashland, OR.
