Art In Action - An Animation Workshop

A 4 day guided creative workshop to take your idea from concept to completion.

• Mentorship by an experienced facilitator with formal training in Visual Arts and Animation.
• Peer Learning and Collaboration with Artists in Chennai.
• A completed final output by the end of the workshop to be showcased through a Public Screening.

Day 1 : Understanding Animation as Storytelling

Day 2 : Stop Motion : making inanimate objects move

Day 3 : Storyboarding & Leaning the process of Production

Day 4 : Public Screening + Feedback + Conversations

Goals of the Workshop :

1. To understand the fundamentals of animation, stop-motion and visual design, and how these disciplines work together to create effective visual storytelling.
2. To network with other artists and be a part of the community. 
3. To learn to transform stories into visual art.

By the end of the workshop, we will also conduct a Screening Day open to general public to exhibit your work to the crowd.
