“White Paper Boats on Black Seas” is a poetic and creative workshop where each child designs a glowing white paper boat illustration on a black T-shirt, creating the effect of small boats sailing across a night ocean. The experience begins with a short drawing practice on paper, where children learn to sketch simple boats, waves, stars, and a moon. Guided by an artist, they then transfer their design onto the shirt using special white fabric markers, choosing from styles like one large central boat, multiple small boats, a personalized name boat, or a constellation-inspired design. The space transforms into an elegant “night studio” with black tables, soft blue lighting, and hanging paper boats that enhance the magical atmosphere. At the end, each child takes home their custom T-shirt and a small white paper boat as a meaningful keepsake of this imaginative experience.
