I am beyond humbled to be selected for Art Gado Gado, the exhibit of Indonesian diaspora art in California, with generous support of the American Institute for Indonesian Studies. Show your support for our immigrant community and artists. Indonesia is the 4th largest country in the world with diverse voices across 17,000+ island. Representing 100,000 Indonesian Americans, I am thrilled that my art evoking California in batik visual language is part of this conversation. This special exhibit will be held in the beautiful Gardensia Archipelago Design, the premier design source for Indonesian artifacts. Amidst this cold winter, let our traditional crafts and contemporary art carry you to our wonderful homeland.
