AI and the Paradox of Agency
Vem har makten när AI tar plats i våra liv? Med nya verk och nyckelverk av internationella konstnärer ställer AI and the Paradox of Agency frågor om vem eller vad som styr i mänsklighetens sammanflätning med artificiell intelligens. Från interaktiva spel och installationer till skulpturer och en drönarläst handmålad textil visar utställningen på konstens viktiga roll i granskandet av samhällets anpassning till ny teknik och i formandet av vårt sätt att tänka om en framtid med AI.
Dog Solution
Umeåbaserade Jessica Klingsells projekt Dog Solution bjuder på suggestiv indie med lika delar färgstyrka och vemod. Klingsell har tidigare synts på scen som ena halvan av Jeff Elliot, där hon framförde en specialskriven litterär soaré tillsammans med sex författare och poeter. En glimt av det återkommer här, med gästspel av Ida Linde och Elin Anna Labba som läser sina texter på temat existens i ny tolkning. På Art Friday framträder Jessica Klingsell tillsammans med Frida Johansson (Barnet, Kraja) och Rasmus Annell (Starpower).
Nattsudd
Nattsudd (Henrik Sigurdh, Oliver Sarin) återvänder till Bildmuseet med sin no-fuzz dansmusik. Den här gången tar de med sig både sitt soundsystem och skivsamling för att visa djupet och mångfalden inom elektronisk musik. Kvällen tar avstamp i de lägre BPM-registren och bygger gradvis upp tempot ju längre kvällen lider.

AI and the Paradox of Agency
Who holds the power when AI enters our lives? AI and the Paradox of Agency features new commissions and key works by international artists, from interactive games and immersive installations to sculptures and a drone-read hand-painted textile.
Dog Solution
Umeå-based musician Jessica Klingsell’s project Dog Solution delivers evocative indie music, balancing vivid intensity with a sense of melancholy. Klingsell has previously appeared on stage as one half of Jeff Elliot, where she performed a specially composed literary soirée together with six writers and poets. A glimpse of that experience returns here, with guest appearances by Ida Linde and Elin Anna Labba, who read their texts on the theme of existence in a new interpretation. At Art Friday, Jessica Klingsell performs alongside Frida Johansson (Barnet, Kraja) and Rasmus Annell (Starpower).
Nattsudd
The Nattsudd duo returns to Art Friday with their no-fuss approach to dance music. This time, they’re bringing their full soundsystem and record collection to showcase the depth and diversity of electronic music. Starting in the lower BPM ranges, they’ll gradually build the tempo as the night unfolds, moving through different genres and soundscapes along the way.
