About this Event
This exciting week-long programme (July 6th - 10th) brings together children and young people (8 - 17 years), artists, educators, youth workers, academics and community leaders for an immersive experience in youth-led, arts-based civic action using the globally recognised FIDS methodology — Feel, Imagine, Do, Share.

- explore important social and community issues through creativity, storytelling and collaboration https://designforchangeni.com/art-for-change
- learn practical artivism skills through workshops in visual arts, performance, media and creative expression
- connect with peers from different backgrounds in a cross-community and intercultural environment
- co-create an original art piece inspired by the Feel, Imagine, Do, Share framework
- develop confidence, leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on activities
- showcase their final creative projects at the closing celebration event on July 10th
The programme also introduces participants to opportunities beyond Northern Ireland, including the global Be The Change Summit in Athens, Greece, where young people from over 30 countries will gather to share ideas and inspire change. https://summit2026.dfcgreece.org/
