About this Event
The exhibition consists of works, through inspiration from different art movements- confronting timely but also timeless topics, compelling the audience to feel, reflect and act.
A Dadaist meditation on genocide, a surrealist vision of homelessness, and a Cubist reflection on climate change sit alongside raw, expressionist works that delve into mental health.
The pieces include landscapes and charcoal drawings depicting nature’s light, movement and stillness. Halimah asks us to hope, reminding us of what still needs protecting-and what is still possible. The visual journey is one acting as the artist’s manifesto for emotional and social awakening.
