Art Field Day 2026
Prepare yourself for an exciting, immersive experience as Art Field Day returns for its third year, bigger, bolder, and more interactive than ever! Join us at Independence Park for two full days of art, community, and creativity. This is your chance to step into a vibrant outdoor space filled with sculpture, performance, and hands-on experiences that invite you to explore, play, and connect.
Whether you're drawn to large-scale installations, live performances, or interactive art, there’s something here for everyone. Bring your friends, your family, and your curiosity. This is an experience you don’t want to miss.
Art Field Day, curated by interdisciplinary artist Nadia Meadows, is a public art pop-up that uplifts artists while creating meaningful connections within the Charlotte community. This year expands into a two-day experience, featuring 8–15 local artists and a dynamic mix of sculpture, sound, movement, and storytelling.
Through multi-sensory installations, guests are encouraged to engage with art through sight, touch, sound, taste, and smell, creating an environment that is both playful and thought-provoking. Artists are invited to draw inspiration from childhood memories, sparking nostalgia for adults and new discoveries for youth.
This event is free and open to the public, designed to be accessible, welcoming, and rooted in community.
