Join Town Square University Parkway for our upcoming Art Exhibit - Threads of the Past with Pieces of the Present on Wednesday, June 10th, as we celebrate creativity, connection, and the incredible talents of our members throughout the aging journey.This special evening will showcase artwork created by our members over the past quarter through collaborative projects, painting, mixed media, sensory art, mosaics, and other meaningful creations developed within our immersive storefronts and therapeutic programming. The exhibit highlights how art continues to provide purpose, emotional expression, cognitive engagement, and joy for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and cognitive decline.
More than an art show, this event is an opportunity to bring awareness to the aging journey while also sharing hope, community, and the beauty that can still exist throughout every stage of life. Guests will enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, community connection, and the opportunity to view and support meaningful artwork created by our members. All of the artwork will be sold and the funds raised will go towards to local nonprofits that support seniors in Manatee County and Sarasota County.
At Town Square University Parkway, we believe life does not stop with a diagnosis. Through creativity, connection, and purposeful engagement, our members continue to inspire us every single day. Wear purple for this fun event to raise awareness!
