Class ExperienceOur weekly art class at Blue Heron Collective focuses specifically on exploring the creative process, building technical skills, developing a personal style, and learning more about how to show their artwork in the community.
Each Thursday, we will bring new materials and inspiration each week, and participants are welcome to follow along or use the materials to make what calls to them. Media includes, but is not limited to, painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, clay, sewing, fiber arts, collage, and printmaking.
Through art-making, our experienced group facilitator will encourage participants to engage with each other socially, practice skills important for independence, and strengthen their self-image.
