Join us for an inspiring evening of Art, Music, Film and Talks about wildlife, climate and the environment.
About this Event

Art Exhibition provided by local artists Angie Salfield, Kate Cochrane and Janet Jopson each one reflecting the importance of the environment in their different ways;

  • Angie creates organic shapes often using found and natural materials reflecting her concern for sustainability.
  • Kate highlights the importance of the unique qualities of differing environments.
  • Janet used bold colours and dynamic brushstrokes to create landscapes.

Music provided by local musicians Sue Harding and Nicola Clark;

  • Sue is a west country-based singer, songwriter & guitar player with a unique vocal-range & heartfelt delivery which creates hauntingly beautiful sounds with a retro sensibility.


  • Nicola is a ‘comic chanteuse’ who likens herself to a singing self-help book full of inspiration, surprises, entertainment and comforting stories.

Films provided by the Frome International Climate Film Festival screening two films;

  • THE TIGER ANTHEM

The Tiger Anthem was an important part of a nationwide campaign named "Saving Our Stripes", launched by the Times of India to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Project Tiger. Directed by SUBBIAH NALLAMUTHU (INDIA). Duration: 3mins 22sec


  • UNDERWATER SCULPTURE.

"Underwater Sculpture" explores the ground breaking work of sculptor and environmental artist Jason deCaires Taylor, who has redefined the relationship between art and nature. Directed by PETER PAHOR (UK). Duration: 32mins

Evening talks provided by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust on Climate Change and Chalk Stream beds and the Frome International Climate Film Festival on their work.
