Art Breakfast: A Friday Morning Art Making Series
After a full spring series, I'm continuing the Art Breakfast's. This time with a focus on collage. One of the most intuitive and endlessly surprising mediums there is. No drawing skills needed. Just paper, scissors, and curiosity.

How it works
Every Friday from May 1st, 9:30–11am at Poésie Coffee. Each session stands alone, come to one or come to all eight. You'll be guided through the theme step by step, with all materials provided. Feel free to bring your own sketchbook — if you don't have one, no worries, one is provided. The group is small and the atmosphere is relaxed. Whether you've never made a collage or you fill sketchbooks every week, you're welcome here.

May 1 — Tear & Arrange
The basics of collage composition: how to place, balance, and trust your instincts.
May 8 — Colour & Contrast
Building a palette, playing with bold combinations and unexpected pairings.
May 15 — Text & Image
Integrating words, letters, and typography into your page.
May 22 — Texture & Layer
Building depth with paper, fabric, and found materials.
May 29 — Pattern & Repetition
Rhythm and movement: how repetition creates energy in a collage.
June 5 — Memory & Place
Collaging from personal imagery, nostalgia, and the places that shaped you.
June 12 — Black, White & One Colour
A restricted palette for maximum impact.
June 19 — Disrupt & Rebuild
Break the rules of collage on purpose: disrupting composition, colour, expectation.

Hi, I'm Katharina — originally from Austria, now slowly making Paris my second home. Creativity and community have been my way of putting down roots here.
