This April, St Paul’s Church Cambridge is opening their doors to one and all hosting Art at St Paul’s. The exhibition showcases a stunning diversity of creativity from a range of cultures with over 200 artworks on display from 75 leading artists. This exhibition is free entry and will run on Saturday 18th April 09:00 - 21:00 and Sunday 19th April 15:00 - 21:00, with a private viewing on Friday 17th April.St Paul's have a long tradition of working with local artists and are fortunate to have many in the congregation. The exhibition will feature a large display of artworks in the Church Hall, with artists from Cambridge and across the world, alongside a St Paul’s Community Exhibition in the Lower Hall showcasing a smaller number of artists.
Curated by fellow artist & historian Emily, the St Paul's Assistant Centre Manager, the exhibition has something for all tastes including abstract paintings, metal sculptures, colourful textiles, fine art, and remarkable three-dimensional pieces with artworks available for sale ranging from £10 to £4000.
Emily said: “This is a truly exciting moment for St Paul’s, offering us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate creativity within our community. I am delighted by the number of submissions we received, and I’m especially proud that the diversity of artists and artworks in this exhibition so beautifully reflects the vibrancy of our city.”
