Join Yess Yoga for a series of free art and wellness programs at Mia. Quarterly classes will explore different yoga practices in connection to Mia’s collection. Participants will enjoy 45-60 minutes of yoga before exploring Mia’s galleries. Program Details:
January 15 | Where Breath Meets Sound
Time: 6–8 p.m.
Location: Target Reception Hall
This class begins with a 60-minute yoga practice incorporating monastic chanting. After the class, enjoy a guided tour of Mia’s special exhibition, “Royal Bronzes: Cambodian Art of the Divine.” Entry to the exhibition is included with your reservation.
March 5 | Root to Rise
Time: 6–8 p.m.
Location: Target Reception Hall
Try yin yoga before exploring the exhibition “Intimate Details of the Natural World: Botanical Art of Minnesota from the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary Florilegium.”
June 6 | Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes
Time: 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
