Join artist Esther Adesigbin in an exploration of October Gallery artists as tools to discuss and teach Black History 365.
About this Event

This in-person training workshop will be full of inspiration and ideas to incorporate a more diverse teaching practice into your classroom or education practice. Our wonderful artist and educator Esther Adesigbin will unpick the current exhibition Romuald Hazoumè’s 'Carnaval' and then draw on other October Gallery artists to reflect on teaching the Black experience.

We will explore ways in which we can use art to approach current cultural, societal and political topics, as well as sharing tips, artist links and ideas for how to include a range of different voices into your art curriculum and across the wider school ethos.

We also have a diverse range of FREE teaching resources on our website and our Youtube Channel

There will be refreshments available.
