Join us in celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and our latest exhibition From Shanghai to Ohio: Woo Chong Yung!
Enjoy music from DJ Hi David, traditional Chinese dance performances from Freya Dance Studio plus Taiji sword demonstrations from the Cincinnati Taijiquan Club, art-making demonstrations presented by the Creative Asian Society, cash bars, food for purchase from Yee Mama and the Terrace Café, and a photobooth provided by Framester. #ArtAfterDarkCincy

About the Painting & Calligraphy Demonstrations by Artists Yufeng Wang and Yu Ling Huang
Dr. Yufeng Wang teaches history and Chinese language at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. She is an accomplished Chinese brush painting artist and has enjoyed sharing Chinese art in the community. She will demonstrate painting Chinese birds, flower, and landscape painting and explain the basic techniques of Chinese brush painting. Yu Ling Huang teaches Asian Art History at Northern Kentucky University. She has been practicing Chinese calligraphy for many years. She will discuss the four basic tools of Chinese calligraphy and demonstrate the different styles of writing "dragon" character.
