This installment of Art After Dark centers on the diverse narratives of our city, inviting guests for an immersive evening of storytelling and memory-making.
The evening features a hands-on workshop exploring the historic community of Africatown through a textile printing exercise. Participants will work with fabric scraps and embellish their pieces with buttons—symbolizing the souls within our shared community.
Local artists are invited to submit their work for the opportunity to be showcased during the event. Selected artists will have their work displayed throughout the museum, creating a dynamic gallery experience that encourages conversation, connection, and discovery.
