On Saturday, May 2nd, celebrate arts & culture with us during the opening reception for our annual "Free as a Bird" group art exhibit. This is the closing event for Painted Wings BirdFest, celebrating World Migratory Bird Day and Bastrop's Bird City designation.Join us for complimentary hors d’oeuvres, live music with Kim Snider from 6-7pm, and a “Birds in Art” talk by Patricia Raine at 7pm. Seating is available. Admission is always free.
Our current Members Showcase is on view with over 70 pieces of art! This show features artists from all over Texas, who bring a variety of works in several mediums and price points.
Our Artist Spotlight this quarter is on John Schaeffer. John's collection of acrylic paintings is sure to awe and inspire!
