We're commemorating Trans Day of Visibility with conversations and community building in partnership with LGBTQ+ Elders of Color!
About this Event

Arrivals: Stories of Becoming is a powerful tribute of how we arrive to become our most authentic selves.
Think of it as Masterclass, with some of Boston’s most treasured community leaders.

In two moderated conversations, Executive and Artistic Director, Giselle Byrd, will be in conversation with community leaders Justice Williams aka Coach Justice and Teasha Purdy aka Teasha Boo as they tell us about their respective journeys to the present moment. The good, the bad, and all in between. And most importantly: how one still stands in their power at a time when the world wants them to fall down. Join us for an afternoon of fellowship and some surprise performances along the way!

Content Warning: This performance contains explicit material that may not be suitable for all audiences. It includes strong language, situations of violence and other mature themes. Additionally, the conversations may address sexual abuse, substance abuse, mental health issues, and instances of discrimination.

Mentions of violence, suicide, sexual assault, and depictions of black joy.
