Dimitri Porreca is a professional dancer, choreographer, and artistic director from Porto Recanati, Italy, specializing in contemporary dance and Urban Art Languages.
He is the Artistic Director of the company Milano Artem and of prestigious dance schools in Milan. Dimitri’s artistic vision is based on the deconstruction of movement to reveal the latent tensions within the individual. He combines the physical intensity of urban dance with the depth of contemporary performance, using the body as a “dynamic archive” capable of documenting and responding to social changes. His work transforms the stage into a space for direct confrontation, where athletic gestures and emotional vulnerability intertwine to explore the limits of endurance and rediscover authenticity.
Dimitri graduated from the prestigious Modulo Urban Dance Academy in Milan. He has performed on world-renowned stages, including the 2022 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony in Qatar in front of about 100,000 people. He has also participated in major events such as the Eurovision Song Contest, the European Football Championship opening ceremony, and the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Manuela Messina is a dancer, choreographer, and a central figure in the contemporary dance and performing arts scene in Milan.
She serves as co-artistic director of Milano Artem, a creative hub where dance merges with anthropological and social research. Her artistic vision focuses on using the body as an “active principle” of the social fabric. Her research explores the boundary between performance art and living installation, transforming movement into a tool to investigate contemporary dynamics.
Together with Dimitri Porreca, she created ARKÈ, a collection of performative works designed to transform exhibition and museum spaces into living organisms, where the audience is invited to interact and become co-authors of the work.

Manuela Messina’s work is distinguished by the ability to combine raw physical language with symbolic material elements. Her choreographies are not just sequences of steps, but true tests of physical and psychological endurance, aiming to reveal human vulnerability and strength.
ARKÈ – Artistic and Cultural Vision:
ARKÈ was born from the desire to investigate the body as an “active principle” of the social fabric. The research moves along the threshold between performance art and living installation, where movement is a tool to explore contemporary dynamics. The vision aims to transform the museum into a living organism, where raw physical language dialogues with symbolic material elements to reflect modern tensions: consumerism, judgment, and the rediscovery of sacred time.
Goals of the Work:
The project seeks to reconfigure the relationship between audience and artwork, breaking visitor passivity and making them co-authors of the performer’s journey. Through a test of physical and psychological endurance, ARKÈ shows the vulnerability and strength of the human body as the last bastion of authenticity, activating a collective catharsis within the museum space.
