For more information about Arne please go to his website - www.arnekoets.nl There is a dedicated group of riders who have been enjoying training with Arne for the past 5-6 years. Spaces on this clinic are limited to eight riders and there are a few spaces now available to newcomers. Arne’s teaching is about more than classical dressage, his understanding of the use of seat… and his ability to teach it… are quite extraordinary. The people attracted to learning with him are usually already on an interesting journey with their horses and looking for alternatives to ‘kick more’ and ‘pull more’.
Arne teaches riders of all levels with equal enthusiasm so don’t be put off by his own impressive feats! Lessons can be in-hand or ridden or a combination of both.

There is an outdoor school with good surface, mirrors and some semi-covered seating. Four huge stables with seamless rubber floors and walls, three with corrals and three surfaced corrals. Importantly, turnout for all. There is a kitchen with fridge, microwave etc.
I offer a fully catered option. We can use my simulator room for the lectures with a huge log burner so we won’t freeze!
Costs:
Rider places: £395
Stabling: £20 per night (bedding will already be down - if you want it emptied and all new bedding there will be an extra charge)
Turnout: £10 per night, horses need to be respectful of electric fencing
Organic meadow hay included
Hookup and camping: both possible, no cost. There is loads of other accommodation in the area so just ask if you need any help with this.
All riders must have public liability insurance up to £1,000,000, please confirm this with you booking.
Payment policy
The only way to guarantee a place is on a first come, first served basis by paying a non-refundable deposit and final payment a month before the start date.
If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, and at any point in the process, you are still liable for the total cost of your clinic place. I can put you in touch with the waitlist contacts, or you can find a replacement yourself. You will need to organise payment direct with them. You will have to find a rider for the full three days, it can’t be split into individual riding lessons. Please make sure you have insurance in place to cover this possibility.
Payment timetable:
Non-refundable deposit payable of £250 to secure your place.
Final payment, plus stabling costs, by end of February 2026.
