At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month a Two Minute Silence is observed on Armistice Day, the day which marks the end of the First World War when the guns fell silent.
Please join the Mayor, Cllr Hugo Mieville outside the Town Hall, in the Market Place, for a short service, which includes observing the national two-minute silence.
Refreshments will be available after the service in the Corn Exchange.
