At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month a Two Minute Silence is observed on Armistice Day, the day which marks the end of the First World War when the guns fell silent.
Hear the Piper, Lyndon Wall play in the Market Place prior to joining the Mayor, Cllr Hugo Mieville outside the Town Hall for a short service, which includes observing the national two-minute silence.
Refreshments will be available after the service in the Corn Exchange.
