The in-store finale for Armies on Parade is approaching! This global celebration of Warhammer is a great excuse to choose a project, plan your approach, and share your progress with like-minded Warhammer hobbyists along the way – online, or at your local store. The in-store Armies on Parade finale is the perfect opportunity to show off your progress, earn rewards, and win prizes. The final judging and awards ceremonies will take place in-store on October 4th (as we're about to wrap up the store anniversary celebrations!) and, whether you take part to win or just to have fun, you will finish the year with a project you can be proud of.
There are four categories you can enter this year!
Solo
This category is to showcase your complete army with the focus squarely on the miniatures – anything from a Warcry warband or K*ll team to a perfectly balanced 2000-point army. Entrants are welcome to build, paint, and submit any army from any Games Workshop game system, but these should be displayed on a blank battle board or table with no terrain or other decorative features.
Youngbloods
The requirements for Youngbloods entries are the same as those for the Solo Entrant category. However, entry is exclusively for Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 and under, who will require the consent of a parent or guardian to enter.
Team
The requirements for Team entries are the same as the Solo category, but for groups that want to work together to create a show-stopping entry. It could be two friends painting a combined force, a family working together, a whole team painting a unit each, or maybe a big community, each contributing a single miniature! Teams of Youngbloods can also enter this category if they have someone over 16 as part of their group – for example, a teacher entering on behalf of a school Warhammer club.
Armies on Terrain
This category is for Solo Entrants, Youngbloods or Teams who want to test their mettle!
We want to see your armies displayed in a narrative setting. Create expansive battlefields, small but highly detailed scenes, or anything in between – let your imagination run wild! You are welcome to enter this category in addition to the Solo Entrant or Team Entry categories. Youngbloods can also enter this category as long as they have the consent of a parent or guardian to enter. Teams of Youngbloods can also enter this category if they have someone over 16 as part of their group – for example, a teacher entering on behalf of a school Warhammer club.
