Are you a serving member of the Armed Forces, a veteran, or a reservist considering your next career move? Or perhaps you're connected to the Armed Forces community through your partner or spouse and wish to learn how the NHS can support you in finding and retaining employment.
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is proud to host its second annual Armed Forces Insight Day on 15th October 2024. Join us to discover how your skills and experiences can transition into a fulfilling career within the NHS.

Our free to attend Armed Forces Insight Day is designed to help members of the Armed Forces community gain insight into the diverse range of roles available at UHS. You’ll have the chance to explore career opportunities, learn about work placements, and hear from inspiring speakers, including veterans who have successfully transitioned into the NHS, Armed Forces Reservists, and senior leaders from across UHS who support our Armed Forces Network.
What you can expect:
- Insight into a variety of NHS roles, from clinical positions to administrative, IT, logistics, and more
- Networking opportunities with veterans, reservists, and NHS leaders
- Information on work placements and career pathways for service leavers
- Practical advice on making the transition from military to NHS careers

- Parking: Free ticketed parking at our local Park and Ride will be available to attendees.
