Enjoy an afternoon Arm Knitting a super chunky lap blanket in our Workshop. This class is suitable for total beginners – no knitting or crafting experience is required. Children aged 13+ can attend but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.The workshop is £50 per person. Message @clairescraftworkshop or email [email protected]. Spaces are limited.
You’ll be taught how to use your arms as knitting needles and you’ll create your whole blanket before the workshop has ended. Your finished blanket will measure approximately 150cm x 100cm. The exact size will vary depending on the tension of your yarn and the size of your stitches. This is what makes every blanket so unique. We will teach you how to cast on, knit the stitches and cast off You’ll receive your own 2kg ball of vegan friendly “Mammoth” yarn from the masters of extreme knitting, Woolly Mahoosive.
Don’t forget to email your colour choice to [email protected]. You can see the range of colours available in the pictures. You will need to select your yarn colour by 5th December so that it can be ordered It’s best to leave your jewellery and watches at home so they don’t get caught in your yarn and we recommend wearing short sleeves or at least something that can be rolled up to above the elbows – don’t worry about getting cold, you’ll be kept warm as the blanket grows up your arms and down your lap.
Refreshments including homemade cakes, Tea, Coffee and Soft Drinks will be available.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the Workshop is cancelled by 'Us' full refunds will be given. If you decide to cancel, the price paid minus the payment processing costs will be refunded. Cancellations after Thursday 20th June will not be refunded unless the place can be filled by a person wanting the same yarn you selected, you will however receive your mega ball of yarn.
