Hello everyone:It is now that time of you for all of us to start planning for Arlidazzle Parade and Festival and Set-Up Day as well.
This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th with the same 5K Fun Run, Parade and Fireworks we support each and every year.
Our time lines are still being penciled in by the city leaders but, We are going to needing help setting up barricades on Friday, December 5th from 0900-1400 with free lunch for radio operators and then formal Main Street and 5k run course set up in the morning around 0800 or so.
We will have to set up: Digital Signs on the highways, Safety Cones and YES, our lovely Yellow Safety Tape to help keep our guests safe and clear of possible issues....
Current Time Lines at this time: Subject to Change:
Team Huddle @ City Hall: 11:30 AM
5k Run Begins at 12:30 PM
Parade Staging 3:00 PM
Parade Begins: 5:30 PM
Fireworks: 7:30 PM
TEARDOWN and Safety Signs Pickup: 7:45 PM
Supper: 8:30 PM
***There will be plenty of assignments for young and old alike that we can support this event, even if your mobility is not as good as others. We can accommodate any and all operators -- We always need Safety Car Operators***
We will again be using the KC0QNA Arlington Repeater and SIMPLEX Channels plus Green Isle for TALK IN and Back Up COMMS if needed.

All operations will be based again for safety and warmth out of the East Wing of the City of Arlington Community Center.
Please make sure you have PORTABLE UHF Capabilities and at least 2 batteries as this is an ALL DAY and sometimes COLD event as well, which means our batteries will drain much faster than normal. Please plan accordingly....
Free Food and Drink will be available again for LUNCH and SUPPER times as provided by the City of Arlington Chamber and Chef Craigs Catering across the street from City Hall.
