Statehood Celebration

What makes Arizona, Arizona?
Discover what life was like for the people of Arizona when it was Spanish, Mexican, and finally American. Arizona's unique history makes the state a blend of diverse people and cultures, which can be seen in Arizona's 5 C's: cattle, copper, cotton, citrus, and climate. See how the 5 C's are represented throughout our history!
Also, Zocalo Hospitality will be offering a sneak peek of Brandylion, the soon-to-open tea house and cocktail lounge located next to the museum. A limited selection of tea and snacks, as well as the bar's full menu (for those 21 years and older), will be available.
Historic demonstrations, displays, and activities include the making of fresh tortillas, musket drills, cannon firings, mining, learning to rope a cow, blacksmiths, and more! In honor of Arizona being the Valentine State, sample Mexican hot chocolate at the comal!
