Wrap up your long Labor Day weekend with the official Arizona Black Rodeo Comedy Show. This year's show features two nationally known comedians and actors Pierre and Cocoa Brown.
PIERRE - appeared on the first year of HBO's Def Comedy Jam then starred on BET's Comicview Showtime at the Apollo Martin Lawrence Presents First Amendment as well as other late night TV shows. His movie credits include playing Halle Berry's boyfriend in the movie "B.A.P.’s" opposite of Bill Bellamy in "How to be a Player" and played partner (detective) to actor Leslie Nielsen in the movie "2001: A Space Travesty". In mid-2020 Pierre became one of the lead Analyst of Comedy Hype News. He's also the host of his own wildly star studded popular podcast 'Pierre's Panic Room'.
COCOA BROWN - is undeniably one of the most talented comics and performers of this generation. She is a fiery comedian and actress who exemplifies mind-blowing humor daring drama and contemporary reality wrapped in a boundlessly energetic package. She harnessed her comedic chops performing on top-rated comedy shows including BET’s “Comic View” “One Mic Stand” and “Showtime at the Apollo”. Her movie credits include Tyler Perry’s critically acclaimed comedy series “For Better or Worse” as well as "Single Moms Club" and has partnered with Samuel L. Jackson in "Lakeview Terrace"
PHOENIX SHRINE AUDITORIUM - is located at 552 N 40th Street in Phoenix. This venue is located just off North 40th Street between the 202 Red Mountain Freeway and East Van Buren. There is plenty of free parking and once inside you will have easy access to cash bar(s) and the Shrine Cafe for hot food and snacks.
