About this Event
Welcome to the official sign-up for the 2026 Energy Innovator Fellowship's Annual Conference!
The event is formally known as the Alaska Rural Innovation and Sustainable Energy (ARISE) Conference. The conference will showcase the unique energy landscape in Alaska, highlighting lessons learned from microgrid development in rural communities and addressing energy challenges with primary grid infrastructure - the Railbelt.
We will start programming in Anchorage, where there will be a day filled with learning Alaskan History and Energy 101. Then, we will take a day trip to Eklutna to see the 40 MW hydropower site that helps power the Anchorage area. Finally, our event ends with a 3-day excursion to Kodiak, an islanded microgrid community in Southeastern Alaska.
We hope this event brings all of the EIF fellows together and gives our attendees a chance to explore Alaska's unique energy scene!
We can't wait to see you in the 49th state!
