I speak three languages....English, Ndebele and Shona.
Today, these languages come together in one shared purpose, as we put the Ariel Financial Literacy Hub vision to life. Our commitment has always been simple and inclusive, to make financial literacy accessible to everyone across languages, cultures, generations and lived experiences.
Today marks a meaningful milestone as we introduce financial literacy books in Shona and Ndebele, two of the most widely spoken languages in Zimbabwe, alongside our English financial literacy stories.
This is not a replacement but an expansion because when education reflects real lives and real voices, everyone benefits.
Meet Washe & Lwazi, the latest additions to the Ariel Money Explorers family.
They join Brielle, Evie and the rest of the Ariel Money Explorers in a growing world where children from different backgrounds can see themselves reflected, included and inspired to learn.
This moment is deeply meaningful for me, because language is not about separation, it’s about connection. It brings families together, opens conversations across generations and allows learning to flow naturally from classrooms into homes and communities.
At its heart, financial literacy is universal.
We all want confidence with money.
We all want financially resilient families.
We all want better futures for our children.
This is how we build that future ... together.
One story. One language. One conversation at a time.
Financial education should feel welcoming, familiar and shared.
This is only the beginning ...
