Argentine Tango at the USA Dance NYE Gala
Curious about the magic of Argentine Tango? Join us for a special evening where you’ll get a taste of this beautiful dance!

7:00-8:00 PM: Beginner-Friendly Tango Lesson
Learn the basics of connection movement and the essence of tango in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
8:00-11:00 PM: Milonga (Social Dancing)
Immerse yourself in the world of tango with enchanting music and a welcoming vibe. Enjoy traditional and modern tango music while watching or joining the dancing!
Lesson instructor and Tango DJ: Frank Winter
We have access to the room from 7pm on and do a bit of setting up so the lesson might start a couple of minutes later.
Location:
Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel in the Club Room (ground floor down the hallway near the restaurant and bar).
Presented in partnership with USA Dance Tidewater Virginia.
Cost:
$10 for the evening (includes both the lesson and milonga).

Everyone Welcome:
All levels are welcome and we’ll make sure complete beginners feel comfortable. Come solo or with a partner!

Allowed in the adjacent hallway.
