So, what makes volunteering at ARF different than most shelters? Flexibility. Real flexibility.
Once you complete the volunteer orientation, you can sign up for an hour or ten. It is up to you! While we would love to see you as often as possible, we understand that lives are busy and schedules are jam packed. We believe a flexible commitment allows you to fit us into your life whenever you can, without pressure, without guilt, and without long term contracts, and we truly appreciate any time you have to offer.
No experience? We will train you.
Love animals? You already qualify.
Volunteering has been shown to reduce stress, boost happiness, and connect you with incredible, like-minded people. Around here, strangers become friends and rescues become family.
