Event Overview: This course presents an in-depth explanation of the CDC’s and OSHA’s guidelines for dental offices. We will review the CDC guidelines for infection control in the dental healthcare setting, review OSHA’s blood-borne pathogen standard guidelines, discuss safety data sheets (“SDS”) and Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (“GHS”) hazard statements, and general office safety standards. We will also talk about strategies to improve infection control in the office in a practical manner.
