Vom avea alături de noi trei specialiști de renume în domeniul istoriei arhitecturii și a artelor: 🟢Paul Stirton, profesor emerit în Modern Design de la Bard Graduate Center din New York și editor al ‘West 86th: A Journal of Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture’, 🟢Juliet Kinchin, fost curator în Modern Design al Museum of Modern Art, New York, respectiv profesorul 🟢Anthony Gall de la Universitatea Óbuda din Budapesta.
ℹ️Tema simpozionului va fi arta și arhitectura Art Nouveau/Secession, sursele și caracteristice „artei noi” prin exemple din Scoția și Europa Centrală.
Prelegerile vor fi susținute în limba 🇬🇧engleză.

We are kicking off the series of English-language events of the "Darvas Talks" series on Saturday, 📅April 5 at ⏰2:00 pm at the Darvas-La Roche House.
We will be joined by three renowned specialists in the history of art and architecture: 🟢Paul Stirton, Emeritus Professor of Modern Design at the Bard Graduate Center in New York, and Editor of ‘West 86th: A Journal of Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture’, 🟢Juliet Kinchin, Former Curator of Modern Design at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and Professor 🟢Anthony Gall from Óbuda University in Budapest.
ℹ️The topic of the symposium will be Art Nouveau/Modern Style in art and architecture, the sources and characteristics of the so-called 'new art' through examples from Scotland and Central Europe.
The lectures will be given in 🇬🇧English.
