About this Event
Welcoming all Arches developers, modellers, and technical-minded individuals to the 2026 Arches Developer Meeting, hosted in Sheffield, UK between June 8-10!
This annual event gives attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and projects, engage in developer discussions, and network with members of the Arches technical community.
Note that this will be an in-person event only (not hybrid), but we aim to record presentations where possible and post to the Arches project YouTube channel.
Visit our website for further information on the event, travel, and the location, at: https://arches-developer-meeting.k-int.com
Who should attend?
The Arches Developer Meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in the technical side of Arches, including but not limited to developers, implementers, researchers and modellers.
Get involved
If you are interested in presenting a topic, such as a piece of work, or new Arches feature, or suggesting (or leading) a topic for discussing with the wider group please complete our Call for Proposals form here: https://forms.gle/YQHiwSraLs1pSfi99.
The call for proposals has a deadline of 10/04, so even if you’re unsure about the topic or your availability, please let us know what you’re thinking as soon as possible!
Event structure
The event is an in-person meeting only, not hybrid.
The event is hosted at the Millennium Gallery and will begin on June 8th at 12:00 and conclude on June 10th at 16:00.
The formal agenda is still being finalised using submissions from the call for proposals form, and topics that have been raised separately. Once the deadline has passed, we will produce the final agenda.
While we don't have the final agenda, we expect talks on Arches 8.1, Lingo 1.0, and Arches core applications/modules.
Knowledge Integration are also hosting an extension to the meeting to give developers additional time to engage in a hackathon and to discuss any issues, features and follow-ups from the conference. This will be held at the Kelham Island Museum on the 11th, and at the Knowledge Integration offices for the morning of the 12th.
