The Arcadia Project is thrilled to partner with The Honey Dewdrops, a new-to-Staunton American folk duo, for a benefit concert supporting our renovation work in the building at 125 E Beverley Street! Please join us Saturday, June 27, at 7PM, at Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Staunton, Virginia for an evening of expressive and richly harmonious folk music! Roots music publication No Depression says “The Honey Dewdrops have a way of filling their songs with humanity, using their beautiful playing and harmonies to emphasize what connects us all.” What an incredible venue to experience their inspiring sound.
Composed of Virginia natives Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, The Honey Dewdrops have been touring since 2009, pushing the boundaries of folk through blending electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin and clawhammer banjo with their signature tight vocal harmonies.
Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 at the door, all tickets general seating.
Extend the festivities by joining us at a lively after party, hosted at Ciders from Mars. All concert-goers will enjoy 10% off all draft ciders and will have a chance to meet the musicians!
