FLX Gateway and Southern Tier Central are hosting a free, in-person, information session for municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and community partners interested in learning more about Appalachian Regional Commission grant opportunities.
Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board will provide an overview of the FY 2027 ARC grant cycle, including the updated application process, eligible uses of funds, match requirements, and what makes a successful application.
ARC funds may be used to support:
- Project development
- Engineering and design
- Construction
- Up to 12 months of programmatic funding
- Capacity-building and planning efforts
Projects should align with one or more of ARC’s goals, including business development, workforce, infrastructure, tourism and community assets, or local leadership and capacity.
Who should attend:
Municipal officials, nonprofit leaders, community development organizations, school/community partners, and others considering projects that could benefit from ARC funding.
