ARBORIST
ARBORIST is the musical moniker of Belfast-based songwriter Mark McCambridge, alongside a cast of well-travelled musicians. Across 3 critically acclaimed albums - MOJO: “Mesmerising…a brilliant exploration of just how inventive Americana can be - ★★★★”, The Guardian: “instant classic – ★★★★” - they have honed their unique blend of Americana and playful lyricism, keeping it deeply rooted in their home city of Belfast and the environs. Their 3rd LP 'An Endless Sequence of Dead Zeros' was recorded at Spacebomb Studios in Richmond, Virginia and won the 2023 Northern Ireland Music Prize. Mark is a current 'Fellow' at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's University, Belfast.
Welcome to McKowski Cafe, a weekly happening taking place each Thursday, where you get the chance to see your favourite artists in the very intimate setting of the speakeasy bar of the Harrison Hotel. Each night is curated by Mark McKowksi, introducing a special musical guest for a live performance in The Live Lounge, with table service and candlelight vibes, followed by vinyl listening in the speakeasy bar for those who wish to stay for a late drink. Tickets are extremely limited so advanced booking is advised. Tickets are £15 per show (plus booking fee). Special combo offers available for a room and ticket for those wishing to stay the night. Also season tickets available for £100 so you can attend every show this season.
