We'll be having lamb visiting days for the remaining Saturdays & Sundays in April from 12-3pm. We'll end the month with ArborEarth Day on Saturday April 25th from 12-4pm with more lamb visits, tree planting, honeybee information, and the beginning of our annual plant sale. Stop by if it's not storming! As always, these lamb visits are free and fun for all ages. Casual "see and say hi" kind of event. Not like a petting zoo for health and safety reasons to keep our flock safe. We will pick up our lambs and tell you all about them! Our Icelandic sheep flock is raised primarily on pasture, so walking to and from wherever they are grazing for the day is expected.
April showers mean these events are also very much weather dependent (cancelled if heavy rains) so check our social media posts or call ahead if storms are questionable. Rain boots, jackets, and other gear you may need when checking the weather and planning your visit are highly recommended, since large puddles often linger until May around here! Oxbow Market open for drinks, snacks, and lots more local food items.
Important site details: Livestock and guardian dog always on site. Please leave your dogs at home or in your vehicle. Please park carefully in our gravel parking lot around Oxbow Market. Overflow parking along our fence line in the grass. Picnic area open for picnicking and relaxing. Sturdy walking shoes and dressing for weather highly recommended. Portable toilet facility on site. Please respect our farm facilities that we care for and share with the public. Thank you for supporting our local farm in your Cuyahoga Valley National Park!
