Future City Tree Farm
Why: Trees are for everyone. Research shows that trees support healthy people and healthy environments. Ongoing tree loss in St. Louis City, especially in equity-seeking neighborhoods, has limited their social, economic, and environmental benefits to residents. Providing access to free and low-cost quality trees in collaboration with partners will help reduce this trend.
Where: Located on the Scott Joplin House Historic Site in St. Louis City, the future City Tree Farm will bring trees closer to the places and the people that need them, inspire advocacy for trees, and elevate the message that a resilient tree canopy must be part of any city's future.
