About this Event
Arancini Class: Sicilian Street Food from Scratch (Chef Erica Foffi)
Step into the world of Sicilian street food with this hands-on Arancini Class led by Chef Erica Foffi, dedicated to one of Italy’s most iconic comfort foods.
We will begin with a warm Italian welcome featuring freshly baked focaccia and marinated olives, inspired by the convivial spirit of Southern Italy.
During the class, you will learn how to prepare arancini from scratch, from seasoning the rice to shaping, filling, breading, and frying them to golden perfection. Together, we will make two classic fillings:
· Traditional ragù
· Fried eggplant and mozzarella
You will gain hands-on experience and practical techniques to achieve arancini that are crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside.
We will conclude with a shared meal featuring the arancini prepared during class and a mixed green salad with balsamic.
